The Social-Ecological System Vulnerability Index (SESVI) for aquatic systems is a measure of vulnerability. It combines several indicators to describe the exposure, sensitivity and adaptive capacity of the social and ecological parts of a water body.

It is designed for lakes, coastal lagoons and estuaries.
